Prof. Dr. Ainurul Rosli

Ainurul is a thought leader in strategic innovation and social impact, contributing to the UK nation-building through small business support projects at the regional, and national levels.

She is passionate about purposeful and sustainable business practices with a proven ability to deliver innovative and effective solutions that positively impact business performance. She is currently a board advisor on several UK institutions; and a Director of Business Engagement at Brunel University London. Ainurul has successfully transformed the community (urban and rural) for sustainable entrepreneurship and has been Influencing and crafting social impact and social value at the grassroots level.

She is the Chair for Practice and Impact Special Interest Group of Institute of Small Business Enterprise (ISBE), UK, and has written various peer-reviewed articles and spoken at international conferences on issues such as collaboration, knowledge co-creation, entrepreneurship, social value, and social impact.

Dr. Jane Chang

Dr Jane Chang is the subject matter expert on Social Value in Malaysia. She draws upon over 35 years of cross-sector experience while working with clients ranging from £1m to £100m in turnover. Jane has catalysed SIM & Gritse on the belief that any organisation can be value-led.

Within the past 4 years, she has supported charities, social enterprises, public sector spin-outs, local authorities, universities in both UK and Malaysia in embedding social value.

Jane has been working with several universities in Malaysia in creating awareness and embedding Social Value in research projects. A visionary leader who incorporates social innovation and practical entrepreneurship education in everything she does, Jane brings together an impressive eclectic mix of skills and experience.

She has previously initiated six entrepreneurial ventures and is a specialist scholar of cognitive entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship education with a passion for bridging academia with real-world impact.

Dr. Seyedeh Asieh Hosseini Tabaghdehi, Consultant

Dr Asieh Tabaghdehi received her PhD in Economics and Finance in 2014 from Brunel University London. She joined Brunel Business School in January 2020, and prior to joining Brunel Business School, she was a senior lecture at Regents University London. She has many years of experience as a practical problem-solver in economics, finance, and business management in different sectors such as energy, financial markets, international business, and small medium enterprises. Her research interests include: AI and digital economy, ethics and corporate sustainability, pricing and competition analysis, trading strategy and risk management, and financial modelling. Dr Tabaghdehi has published in international academic journals such as the Journal of Business Research, International Journal of Hospitality Management, and Journal of Asia-Pacific Financial Markets. She has presented her research output at international conferences, workshops, and universities. She is on Editorial board of the International Journal of Applied Management Theory and Research, and journal of Organisational Studies and Innovation. Dr Tabaghdehi is a member of UK Energy Institute and fellow member of the UK higher education, and fellow member of Chartered Management Institute.

Jonathan

Jonathan

As an early-career researcher, Jonathan has over 5 years of quantitative and mixed methods research experience in various fields including neuropsychology, psycholinguistics, cognitive psychology, and social psychology. Over the years, his research has been presented at conferences both locally (MAPSA and MIPC), and internationally (International Connect’M).

Jonathan completed his Bachelor’s in Psychology at HELP University with First Class Honors and was later offered a scholarship to pursue a PhD in Psychology at the University of Nottingham, Malaysia Campus. Currently, he leads his research team in investigating the effects of multilingualism on brain and behavior. The results of his thesis would have important implications for Malaysia’s existing educational policies as well as for populations diagnosed with pathological cognitive decline or otherwise.

He believes that unless academic research can be transformed into actionable plans to improve or impact society, academia would remain in a bubble, disconnected from pervasive issues in society.
